Day 1:
Guilin

Arrival fubo Hill Reed Flute Cave


Arrive at Guilin airport, meet your local guide.


Fubo Hill Fubo Hill (Wave-Subduing Hill), is 120 meters long, 60 meters wide and 213 meters high. It stands solitarily in the northeast of the city and on west bank of Li River with half of the hill stretching into the river. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks, hence the name "wave-subduing Hill". A tale has it that Ma Yuan who was called General Fubo from the Han Dynasty had once passed by Guilin on a southern expedition. He poured all the pearls he carried into the river, so the hill was named after him in his memory.


Reed Flute Cave : the cave got its name from the verdant reeds growing outside it, with which people make flutes. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition.

Day 2:
Xingping

Yangdi Walk along the Li River - Xingping Village


Yangdi Drive to Yangdi. Yangdi Village is located on the west bank of Li River, about 46 km (48.6 miles) from Guilin. Behind the village lies a hill consisting two peaks, which look like two hoofs (yang ti in Chinese pinyin) of a sheep hanging upside down-hence the name Yangdi Village which is alike in sound with yangti.


Treeking from Yangdi to Xingping by the side of Li River, about 4-5 hours.


Xingping VillageLocated 27 km from Yangshuo, in the eastern bank of the Li River, Xingping is an ancient town with a history of more than 1300 years. Apart from the well preserved Ming Dynasty architectures, which dominant the town, and fine wood carving dating back to more than five hundred years, Xingping boast some of the best natural scenery around the area, somewhat better than that that in Yangshuo. The seven mountains surrounding the village, two stone guarding at the entrance keep the place a spiritual sanctuary off the modern world. 

Day 3:
Xingping

Trekking in Xingping Hebao Hill Village– Hebao Hill– West Street


Treeking about 2 hours in Karst area to Hebaoshan village.


Hebaoshan Village: situated by the side of Li River, few visitors, beautiful view.


Hebaoshan Hill: Climb the hill to the pick, it’s the dream place of the photographers.


Drive back to Yangshuo.


West Street West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, West Street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. West Street is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies.


 

Day 4:
Yangshuo

Drifting by raft Bicycle tour


Drifting by raft from Yangshuo to Fuli. (about 1~1h30)


Drive back to Yangshuo.


Bicycle Tour: In the afternoon, you’ll ride a bike around Yangshuo. (Yangshuo - View of Gaotian -  Aishan village - Yangshuo)

Day 5:
Longsheng

Longsheng - Ping'an and Longji Rice Terrace


Drive to Longsheng.


Pingan village: Pingan Village locates at the top of Longji terraces. The altitude is up to 1200 meters. The population here is more than 200. Inhabited in the region are all Zhuang Minority, still remain there is the exquisite Zhuang costume and ancient simple living customs.


Longji Village: It is one of those places with the rice terraces that run for thousands of vertical feet up the mountainsides. Always misty, it’s a place where you can feel the pressure of the history of the place, how long it took to make the terraces, how it’s hard to really get warm, down into your bones.


Rice Terrace: Located in Longsheng County, the Longji Rice Terraces are about 100 km (2 hours drive) from Guilin. The most popular are Ping An Rice Terrace and Jinkeng Rice Terrace. History of Longji Rice Terrace can be dating back to Yuan Dynasty, but most of the Rice Terrace were built during the Ming Dynasty, about 500 years ago.

Day 6:
Guilin

Free in the morning Transfer to the airport


Transfer to the airport or the railway station for the next destination.
