Yabshi Phunkhang Heritage Hotel is situated in the heart of old Lhasa city. The beautiful mansion was built in 1838 for the family of the 11th Dalai Lama of Tibet, and Yabshi was the title given to the Dalai Lama’s parents. Phunkhang is short for Phuntsok Khangsar.
